October 2013

So you’ve probably had a test or two and turned in a paper, and your thoughts might have turned to grades. Every class will likely be graded differently – some will have only exams, some might be graded solely on a few papers, some might have a component of the grade based on class participation. Your professors will have defined just how the class will be graded in their syllabus. Be sure to read and understand just how your grade will be determined. Make sure to meet all of the deadlines. Pay attention to whether work can be done with others, and be conscious of the Academic Honor Code Policy at all times. more>>

Greetings from London! We are here visiting our beautiful granddaughters, Corinne, two (TU Class of 2032), and Linden, six months (TU Class of 2034). Naturally, we are also spending time with our daughter Cally (TU Class of 2007, MAT 2008) and her husband Adrian (Class of 2007). Trinity is in our family genes, as you know. In the background is the Tower Bridge. We are standing on the new London Bridge.  more>>
