Hello Class
of 2017!
Welcome back!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday break and are feeling refreshed and ready to
start this new semester! We are very excited to see all of you back on campus.
I want to
take this time to plug a couple of events coming up in January. Please mark
your calendars for Wednesday, January 21st at 7 p.m. when we will be
hosting the Major Declaration Seminar. Dr.
Sheryl Tynes, representatives from Career Services, and a representative from
the Office of the Registrar will be present to speak about the process of
deciding on, and declaring, your major, as well as the impact this decision
will have as you begin to search for internships and jobs.
Second, have
you ever thought about joining the Residential Life Student Staff? If so, be
sure to attend one of the required info sessions on January 28th or
January 29th at 6 p.m. in the Fiesta Room. If you are unable to
attend either info session but are still interested in applying, please email
me by January 28th.
